Proyecto Silos
Proyecto Silos is a collective initiative of students from different Architecture Schools interested in the revitalisation and rehabilitation of Industrial Heritage. It is a complex project that integrates concepts such as culture, social engagement, ethics and sustainability: Culture for the research effort, dissemination and social awareness of Industrial Heritage and particularly on agricultural barns ; Social engagement by human involvement and rural development as well as employment that can generate; Ethics and sustainability due to empowerment and sustainable use, responsible use of existing resources in these nuclei and generating new ones that benefit people and the environment.
Forming a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation of cultural heritage, based on the three main pillars of a common project: the historical documentation, restoration/consolidation of movable and immovable state and architectural rehabilitation. Learning to work in teams of different disciplines and understanding the job and function of all.
