A barn clinging to the side of the Pyrenean mountain with a breathtaking view of the valley, such is the privileged location of this home.  
The program provides the construction of an extension housing two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. With the current living room turning its back on the magnificent view, we moved it into the newly created extension. The ground floor has been reorganized to house the bathroom and the two bedrooms.  
Firstly, a retaining wall retains the land. In order to fit in smoothly, the new construction follows the volume of the existing barn, retaining its colors and materials while asserting its contemporaneity through the use of large bay windows and large sliding shutters.
