BAILÉN 18 BASEMENT
The space configuration is focused on the courtyard, delimited by 9-meter-high walls in green marble. This outdoor area generates the framework of solemnity, calm, and forcefulness that contrasts with lighting objects and furnishings that convey a more technological and youthful image.
The intention is to create tension between the stony and noble elements such as marble, washed-ed- ge terrazzo blocks, boulders, concrete and cold materials with a futuristic character such as stainless steel, technical lighting, resin, and glass.
This contrast responds to the character of the Sivasdescalzo brand, where high fashion and more exclusive elements converge with street culture and trends.
The storage areas are distributed around the perimeter for quick access from any point. They are de- limited with semi-opaque black glass that creates games of transparency and reflection, depending on the lighting, to give a glimpse of the warehouse.
An adjoining room is delimited using a flexible separation of mirrored doors that allow it to be more or less integrated according to the needs. This room acts as an exhibition area for temporary performances and has as an outstanding grid of programmable light strips.
The racks and displays objects are versatile and mobile, so they can be reconfigured to solve a variable product display.
In the light grids, that subdivide and zone the space, there is a desire to accentuate the coexistence between diffuse lighting, without shadows, and areas where the light is more theatrical, focusing on specific points, with more contrast between lights and shadows.
