Sfumature di Bianco
Interior design for a residential unit for a couple in the Venice countryside area, north-east of Italy.
The project comes from the desire of a young couple to create their first home, conceived as a space of peace to fulfil their daily needs. The 75sqm second-floor apartment within a new development in the countryside in the Venice area. The interiors have been entirely redesigned and customised with bespoke furniture.
The distribution of the spaces allows an optimised use of the functions, with a quick connection between the rooms and the right grade of privacy for each area.
The dining-living area’s neat space features exclusively the dining table and the couch/tv area directly connected to the kitchenette. The connection between the space revises the concept of hallway thanks to full-height flush-wall doors.
The bathroom has a precise internal division of the functions, while the bedroom features an extensive wardrobe area that blends in with the walls thanks to the minimalist design. The study room has a direct view of the surrounding countryside. The internal light fittings feature pieces of Italian design.
The overall result is a delicate dwelling where natural light and the colour white flood the spaces in contrast with elements in natural timber and black.
