Officebuilding Capgemini / Spie
1.054 windows
In contrast to its surroundings, the new officebuilding of the companies CapGemini and Spie represent a stricter type of construction in the stringent grid of its high-quality natural stone facade. The triangular, two-storey incisions in the building form break up the facade and accentuate the entrances.
The sculptural form of the building directs the public road-space of Balcke-Dürr-Allee into the spacious, landscaped courtyard, which represents the entrance area of the new building. The office space of the two tenants are clearly separated and accessible via two entrances. Their floorplans are characterized by flexible work environments from cell offices to open office landscapes. In addition, there is a day care center on the ground floor.
The officebuilding for CapGemini and Spie has been certified with the highest LEED award in Platinum.
