The design wants to define in a very clear way the relationship between vertical distribution ( staircase) horizontal distribution (corridor/foyer) and meeting/facilities spaces laying them on three parallel belts in a very simple and paradigmatic way.
The program had to deal with an evident lack of space and consequently the staircase was designed as hang outside as a glass cage to be brand new built.
The foyer where breakouts take place profits of the space of the large distribution corridor facing the full height staircase.
The meeting and training rooms have entire glass facades facing the foyer open on the staircase and profit of the great transparency of the both the existing and of the new staircase façade.
