Green Academy
The project strategy for the former Marzabotto paper factory is based on the principle of COLLABORATIVE SYSTEMS. An ecosystem, for example, is the result of an active collaboration between its components. The ecosystem is like a “factory” organized in a parfect way, able to produce everything necessary to needs and sustainable life.
The current crisis (pollution, land use, deforestation...) is the consequence of a wrong approach, in which the various systems involved are acting for profit in a uncollaborative way. This is the theme who guides every single design choices (from materials to functions) for the Green Academy, because the changes can only awakening consciences of the new generations.
