Raiffeisenbank, Untersiggenthal
Three building cubes that correspond with the grain and geometry of the quarter merge to form a double-headed figure. An exterior space with existing trees interweaves with the buildings and opens out at the street junction to form a square. The elements of the brownish-black, shimmering aluminum façade are brought together to create a carefully proportioned, monochrome relief. Daylight shines through a glass ceiling into the customer hall with elm wood paneling, making the white marble floor radiate.
