Migrant Garden aims to promote an architectural culture attentive to issues of the environment, the landscape and the protection of cultural heritage. Migrant Garden supports the need for dialogue and debate within the discipline of Architecture. Migrant Garden promotes culture as a horizontal value. Migrant Garden collects projects from all around the world. Migrant Garden is a traveling temporary installation.
Migrant Garden is a non-profit project whose proceeds will be donated to charity. The installation consists of 40 bird nests, designed by 40 selected architects. The models will be exhibited in the faculty campus garden in Piacenza in June 2015. The project also consists of four conferences in which Italian and international architects will be invited to exhibit their work.
