The project explores the generation of new forms through an innovative use of a traditional material: incienso wood. The floor wood boards fold on the walls and as the ascend, split into a series of arcs of different geometries that generate a play of lights and crossed views through them, coming back together on the opposite wall. This new geometry is intended to bring a new life to the interior of a traditional turn of the century house, generating in a reduced space a diversity of new views and different situations.
The always changing condition of the ceiling as shoppers make gentle movements inside the store gives a feeling of spaciousness to this interior of such reduced dimensions (only 5,50 x 7,00 meters), as the perception of the lighting, texture and shape of the wood is altered at every step.
