An accountant and an internet company wanted an outstanding modern office building on a site along a highway and separated only by a three meter high fence from the runway of the nearby airport. The office program fits into one level on the plot. To create visibility from the highway we decided to lift the whole building 3 meters above ground level, simply through lengthening the foundation poles. In addition the building gains an unobstructed panoramic view over the entire runway. By cutting out the building�s centre, every desk can be positioned next to a window. Each of the two firms occupying the building has their own wing while being connected by a bridge. The bridge houses the shared entrance and a company restaurant that can be converted into a meeting or presentation room.
