LEONARDO FINOTTI
PINACOTECA DO ESTADO
PAULO MENDES DA ROCHA
Volumes 52, 53, 54, 55 and 56 of DIVISARE BOOKS are devoted to Leonardo Finotti's personal research on some of the most notable works by the Pritzker laureate Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
In this volume, Leonardo Finotti presents the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, the city's oldest fine arts museum, reopened to the public in 1998 after Paulo Mendes da Rocha's intervention, which maintened the original 19th-century building as structure, adapting the spaces to the new functional needs of Pinacoteca.
